Yardi Dynamic Property List

Dynamic property lists automatically update and sync with PredictAP so you never have to add or remove properties manually. This article walks you through creating one in Yardi from start to finish.

Open Setup

From the left navigation menu in Yardi, click and open Setup.

Navigate to Property Lists

Click Property, then select Add Property List.

Name Your List

Give the list a name and description.
A helpful note is to start the name with an underscore (e.g., _active1) so it’s easy to identify as a dynamic list. Add a clear description such as “Active Properties”.

Open the Attribute Tab

At the bottom of the screen, click the Attribute tab. This is where you define the filter criteria for the list.

Select the Attribute

Choose the attribute you want to filter by. For this example, select Status.

Set the Operator

Under the Operator column, select Equal.

Select the Value

Click the grey box under the Value column to open a selection window. Choose Active, then click OK and Close.

Save the List

The screen will refresh, and your new property list will appear. Click Save to confirm.

What if a newly added property is not showing on the List?

If a specific property is missing from a dynamic list, the most common cause is a missing or incorrect attribute value on that property record. Check the following:

  • Confirm the property’s Status attribute is set to Active.

  • Check for trailing spaces or inconsistent capitalization in the attribute value.

  • Verify the attribute is assigned at the property level, not just the unit level.

  • Refresh the list or re-save it to trigger an update.
