Vendor and Property Syncing with Yardi and PredictAP
This article explains common reasons vendors or properties may not sync and what to review if data appears missing.
PredictAP syncs data through a Yardi interface user. PredictAP can only receive vendors and properties that this interface user is allowed to access in Yardi.
If the interface user cannot access a property or vendor in Yardi, that data will not sync into PredictAP.
Vendor Syncing Behavior
Vendor Status
Only active vendors sync into PredictAP. If a vendor is inactive in Yardi, it will not appear in PredictAP.Vendor Associations
Vendors in Yardi are associated with properties either directly or through property lists. Vendors inherit access from the properties they are linked to.
If a vendor is associated with a property that is not accessible to the interface user, the vendor will not sync into PredictAP.
Recently Updated Vendors
If a vendor was recently updated or newly configured, it may take up to four hours for the changes to reflect in PredictAP. In some cases, saving an update to the vendor record can help trigger syncing.
Property Syncing Behavior
Property Status
Only active properties sync into PredictAP. Inactive properties will not appear.
Property Access
The PredictAP interface user’s access in Yardi determines which properties are available for syncing. If a property is restricted by security settings or property lists, it may not sync into PredictAP.
Dynamic Property Lists
Some customers use dynamic property lists in Yardi, which automatically include properties based on defined criteria, such as property status.
Because these lists update automatically:
- Newly activated properties may begin syncing
- Properties that no longer meet the criteria may stop syncing
- If a property is missing, confirm that it currently meets the criteria defined by the dynamic property list.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is a vendor active in Yardi but missing in PredictAP?Even if a vendor is active, it will not sync if it is associated with a property the interface user cannot access. Vendor syncing is dependent on property access.
Why did a property stop syncing?
This can happen if the property became inactive, was removed from a property list, or no longer meets the criteria of a dynamic property list.
How long does it take for changes in Yardi to reflect in PredictAP?
Changes may take some time to appear, depending on syncing cycles and configuration. Recently updated records may not appear immediately.
What should I do if everything looks correct, but data is still missing?
If vendors and properties are active, correctly associated, and accessible to the interface user—but still not appearing in PredictAP, please contact PredictAP Support for assistance. Our team can help review your configuration and investigate further.
